LEMD Madrid Barajas airport issues

Post by Juancarlos737 » Mon Feb 27, 2023 3:51 pm

Hello, I have found some anomalies when using LVFR Barajas airport, this includes elevations that makes unrealistic to pushback or park the airplane in certain parts of the airport and some sort of big colums in the T2 that doesn't make sense. I tried to attach some captures that I did, but it seems that it doesn't care how I decrease the resolution or the size of the picture, it always give me an error because the "File too large".
Thanks for your time.

There is a huge problem with the elevation of LEMD, the airport from south to north the elevation in real life changes.

The terminals were made to be flat, and if we let the airport to be flat, it will not look realistic. Around that point where we see on the screenshots its where a transition occurs that its a bit too hard on the elevation between north and south. We tried to mitigate or reduce the transition but it has been impossible. We tried to work it for a long time to no avail.

We hoped MSFS would change its way of doing terrain. We have the same issue in KBWI and KFLL

I understand that the transition on the taxiway close to the 14R is difficult to fix, but on T2-T3 stands, the affected area is very small. Is it so difficult to fix that area?

We are having a hard time smoothing the terrain in those areas.
