SCEL; Jetways are not connected to the Terminal

Post by Harry320 » Tue Nov 12, 2019 9:00 pm

Hi,

it seems to me, that the Jetways at SCEL are not connected to the Terminal. Example C3A; E3
There's a gap between the jetways and the glass corridor. (Pic_1)

On the opposite side, the jetways are too deep in the terminal. (Pic_2) Example C2A; E4A

Is that a misalignment?

kind regards,

Harald

Now it is almost three months since I reported this bug and nothing has changed and I afraid nothing will change in the future !

I bought almost all LatinVFR airports,
and had a high opinion of LatinVFR in the past, but now.....?

Apparently LatinVFR is not interested in me as a customer,
In this case it's all right. But I don't care about LatinVFR in the future.

I think that I will not buy any more airports from LatinVFR because I am disappointed.

Hi, we have updated SCELv2 many times since it was released. Many of the times we did that because of significant flaws. We can't just update anytime a user report minor visual bugs.

Reason I haven't done this is because the SODE jetway developer is someone outside LatinVFR. Will forward to him this thread and let you know as soon he has updated this.
thanks

Hi Ricardo,

but why didn't you explain this to me before?

You are right, for many Customer it's maybe a little issue,
but i find that it is quit unrealis if the jetways are too far from the Terminal.
Nobody climbs through the stand or jumps from terminal to the jetway.

I'm not usually bothered by little things, but it's already bothering me.

It has something to do with the last hotfix. Without this hotfix it is not perfect, but a little better.
Seems that all the jetways or the airport have shifted

LatinVFR has been one of my favorite developers and I wish it stays that way!

Best regards,

Harald

Hi, so you say without the hot-fix is better?

Hello Ricardo,

please don't think I'm crazy. This morning I thought I was!

1.) I just uninstalled SCEL V 2.3 with hotfix and searched the Sode folder for *SCEL* files to delete leftovers, and then reinstalled SCEL V2.3 without Hotfix.

I had the same situation as in the pictures from November 12, 2019
My thought was, what did you tell him nonsense. The position of the jetways had not changed.
Regarding my message " it has to do with the Hotfix"

2.) SCEL V2.3 uninstalled again

Then I started P3D and loaded the default scenery to see if something was wrong. Then I closed P3D again.

3.) Installed SCEL V2.3 again, and the jetways looked much better.

4.) Installed the hotfix and nothing has changed!

5.) SCEL V2.3 uninstalled again and reinstalled. P3D started without loading the default Scenery and same situation as Nov.12.2019

The only difference was that P3D was once loaded with the default scenery.

I don't know what the issue was and I apologize for my previous posts!

I have repeated steps 2-4 and now it looks like the pictures.

Best regards,

Harald
