A330-900 / A340-300 avionics update?

Post by Zeddooo » Mon Oct 07, 2024 7:48 pm

When will we finally see the update for those airliners? Why releasing the A330-200 when not even those two Airplanes work properly?

Thanks in advance for an reply.

We had to release it as we are still working on avionics and may things are going on in the market.

We have multiple teams working on multiple things at the same time. The coding and under the hood work takes more time. We had the A330-200 done in Spring this year, and we had been holding it because of the new avionics, but market dynamics have forced us to get it out as it is.

We apologize for the delay but trust us, it will be great.

It’s certainly looking that way Ricardo.. As someone who uses Study level a lot, I like the LVFR for the simplicity, if you produce everything you are talking about then this range won’t be far behind study level. Maybe free up some buttons, like the arming of emergency exits, arming and disarming doors on the EFB, also contact with the Galley would be great like in the V2 Neo. But having bought the A330 this morning, I’m really impressed so far.
