Steering on the ground

Post by Jonmal » Mon May 06, 2024 5:10 pm

Since my 318 was updated yesterday I find it is almost impossible to steer and manoeuvre on the ground. Is this expected.

Strange, we had fixed this issue before release. Which exact plane are you trying?

The Airbus A318-100CJ CFM in BA livery. I use the Saitek X52Pro. The nose wheel looks turned but the aircraft only turns a very small amount. It seemed fine before the update.

We just tested, everything normal when loaded by default on the runway, what kind of controllers are you using, and if you try the A318 pax version does it happen also?

One of my friend have same problem as Jonmal write.
My problem on same plane Airbus A318-100CJ CFM in BA livery. is little bit different and it is "bouncing" front wheel during taxi. Also when I look from exterior view the front wheel position is not corresponding with radius of turn.
There is something wrong with front wheel

I have tested again and still had the issue but I think the issue was that my Xbox controller (that I only use for camera) had reset itself to default and that meant many binding conflicts. Since I've cleared it the issue seems resolved. Sorry for your time taken.

Ok thank you, makes sense as we just tested.
