A330-900 issues arising.

Post by Burnzee Boyee » Wed Jul 24, 2024 1:32 pm

Hi, I've had the A330 for some time now and still quite enjoy it.
However I've noticed a few issues have arisen. The screens are sometimes staying dark when even after all my checks are completed and ready to taxi.

Take off on V1 is impossible again somehow. I just keep going right on till I connect with something.

And when try a longhaul flight from EGLL to KLAX. I found that when attempting to use the 'travel to' I see that the fuel has reset and I dont have enough to even select 'approach'

Xbox series x. Using controller.

Hi, the screen issue is due to peformance, it goes dark and comes back again?

and the travel to function is buggy so I suggest in the meantime not to use it.

I'm having the same problem as well, when ever I try to use the "Travel to" feature, it comes back saying "You don't have enough fuel to travel to approach". Is this just happening for the a330-900 or for every plane in MSFS?

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for the reply. Yes the screens do come and go as you describe, I'll give the travel to option a miss for the time being then. Is there any idea why I'm not taking off after reaching V1? I just seem.to stay a few feet off the runway till I collide with something.

Thanks in advance again.

Personally I've found it only happens to the A330-900 and the A319 I think,( study level aircraft) just now. All other aircraft are OK

I noticed that however light or heavy, the A339 will rotate and stay in the state all the way up to about 198kts before finally lifting off the ground. If the runway isn't long enough to accommodate this, it results in a crash. I've attempted to adjust elevator trim to compensate but it always autotrims back to zero. I am not using any assistance from MSFS.
