black screens+tablet

Hello, I know from the a320 that the screens and the tablet remain black during a cold and dark start. That's why I bought the a330 today. It has exactly the same problem... what can I do? The topic has already been discussed, but has been closed...
and is it normal that I have to turn on all fuel pumps first to start the APU?
In addition, the fuel calculation in the MCDU doesn't work. I can't type a "+" in the MCDU either. I know that I have to type "-" twice in a row to write a "+". Am I doing something wrong? Where can I drain the fuel? How does the trim tank work? I have to land with 36% trim...
