A321 usage with GSX

Post by cjboy31 » Tue Aug 30, 2022 6:07 am

Is there a fix available to allow GSX to work with the A321? I keep getting the "Realease Parking Brakes" message even with the parking brake off. Ive tried everything to sort this out but to no avail no success. thank you.

The A321neo works exactly as the A320neo in all senses.

So you shouldn't have this issue, unless you also get it on the default asobo A320neo.

Most of us are using a FBW compatibility mod and GSX always asks us to set the parking brake even though we have. Any chance LatinVFR can look into it or is it strictly forbidden and taboo and not supported?

Not forbidden nor a taboo.

If GSX was made, as I see on the videos to support default aircraft. I am pretty sure you won't have this issue.

The A321neo was done strictly and exactly the default/base SDK guidelines. Not a very complex nor advanced aircraft.

If you are using the FBW compatibility with the a321neo, the issue must lie there.

And we aren't using that FBW mod on the 321neo so we can't actually know whats wrong. But from some videos I have seen, some of our files have been altered by that file, perhaps there lies the issue.

If you try the A320neo from ASOBO without FBW mod, and it works correct, then you should have no problem with our 321neo stock. If you do, let me know and we will come back.
Perhaps you can ask the author of the mod for the FBW to revise, since he has altered the files.

I just tested the A321 with GSX at PANC Anchorage. I released the parking brake when the ground instructed, and the pushback commenced as planned.

Perhaps there was an update between the time of your original post and now that may have fixed the problem.
