KMIA CTD - MSFS (solved)

Hello,

I purchased Miami for MSFS a while ago. has been working until recently (within the last month) I installed through the contrail application. Installation is successful however when I go to fly, it loads approximately 50% and then crashes to desktop. Event logs just show a crash of flightsimulator.exe file with very little additional info. I have the latest version of both MIA (1.0.8) and the latest version of MSFS (1.15.10). I have installed a fresh copy as well as installed into a different folder location. still the same issue. I searched the forums but didnt see anybody else with the same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I have noticed some more reports of CTD's. Perhaps this is due to a change in the sim with the updates. We will ask ASOBO on what can be at play here in regards to these CTD's.

Thank you for the reply... an update to this issue... today after i removed everything out of the community folder and ran MIA with nothing added on, it did not crash. I had a bunch of free add ons in there. I reinstalled all my purchased scenery in the community folder and the FBW a320. still no crash. So it appears as though there was an add on that was not playing nice, although i have not narrowed down which one exactly.

I've had multiple CTDs at KMIA as well. The first was after a 2.5 hour flight and MSFS crashed to desktop on a 3-4 mile final. I've attempted to load up at KMIA multiple times to have a flight out of the airport and it crashes to desktop every time. Several times during the general load process and twice after I can see the airport from inside the plane, but then crashes within 20 seconds of that point. I'm using the Flybywire A320 mode downloaded from the MSFS marketplace.

I have this airport in P3D and MSFS and hope to be able to fly in and out of it in MSFS. Please let me know if there's any other information you need to help either replicate this issue or to solve it. Thanks.

We have recently updated KMIA, fixing this issue. Can you please try to download the latest version and test. Let us know.

I have KMIA v1.0.9 and KMSY v1.0.2 and both are CTD on a 3-4 mile final. Thank you.

Hi, can you try what the poster said on post 3 in this thread, remove everything in the community folder and test?

There shouldn't be any issues at all. Do you have performance issues at KMIA?

Cool i will try that and update. I dont have any performance issues or loading problems. Just CTD when i am on arrival or departure. I am sure it's an addon issue. Thank you Ricardo. Your sceneries are amazing btw
