A319 Wing Stall

Post by Azlog » Thu Sep 28, 2023 12:37 pm

I’ve been struggling with landing the A319 since the last update which said something about ground effect. Used to be able to land at 134kt when 60 tonne landing weight but now even at 140kt, a wing will always drop when around 50ft as if stalled. Not having this problem on the default A20N or the inibuilds A310. Is this something I am doing or is it an issue? Thanks

are you retarding the throttles when the aircraft tells you to?

Normally yes but I do wonder if I have been a little bit early. Been playing about a bit more with it and changing the sensitivities on my hotas which seems to have helped. I had very low sensitivities which worked well for the A310 as it can be very twitchy but we’re perhaps not working quite so well with the A319. If it’s not any known issue then I’ll just try harder to not suck at landing 😁

Also please add a bit more on the landing speed. If you can 5 knots more. We will again revise the landing speeds and fix on an update soon.
