A319ceo Altitude problem!!!!

Hey there, I am having a problem where the A319ceo does not hold the altitude set. It's either in a flt plan in the FMC or just random. It will bypass the altitude set and won't hold it no matter what i do. I have the the flt model to modern but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something here.

I just purchased this plane and it's fun to fly but one with this problem.

Try creating a flight plan in the map menu instead of loading a Simbrief generated plan. This bug has happened when using a Simbrief generated plan as Simbrief sometimes uses waypoints that aren't in the sim yet since Asobo hasn't updated the AIRAC information.

Thanks for the advice but I don't see where a simbrief flight plan has anything to do with the aircraft not following the altitude constraints or holding the altitude at all. My problem is ALL the other functions seem to work i.e. speed, hdg etc... except the altitude

We are working into fixing this for future updates.

Just so myronk doesn't feel alone, I have the same problem. My autopilot holds the altitude fine for an hour or more into the flight but then randomly gains or loses altitude. I've tried recycling the AP, resetting the altitude and using altitude change, nothing works, it mostly climbs uncontrolled. However, this isn't about the CEO version because I can't find it on my aircraft list or hanger, this is one of the other A319s I have available.

I would like to help you, but I'll need more information first. Which A319 are you using? Are you using SimBrief? Can you send me your flight plan? I would like to fly it to see if I can replicate the problem on my end.

Specifically which A319 are you using? I would like to try your flight plan as well to try and verify what's happening.
