Minor bugs in A319 2.0
Minor bugs in A319 2.0
I've noticed a couple of minor issues with the new cockpit version of the A319ceo.
1. On the EFB main page, the departure and destination airport is always INOP, even if there's a flight plan loaded into the plane from the world map. Clicking on the "Get flight datas" button doesn't do anything.
(Minor note: the button doesn't need to say "datas". The plural of data is still just data, so the correct text would be "Get flight data". )

2. In the default external view the cabin disappears and the aircraft becomes "see-through". On the attached screenshot you can even see the holes in the shadow, as the light goes through the aircraft fuselage. I think this may be a LOD issue. This applies with animated passengers both off and on, and is apparent both on the ground and in the air.
(Note: The default zoom level is 50. At zoom level 55, the cabin appears and the aircraft displays as normal.)

On 1 we had to disable that feature as it was causing CTD's. We will replace it with something better that works
on 2. We should have that fix for the next update. thanks

During the cruise flight, the aircraft suddenly went into Cold & Dark mode.
In the exterior view during the flight pylons fly along from the parking position.

Ok, can you tell us exactly what was going on or what were you doing when it went to cold and dark whilst on cruise?

Everything was configured for cruise flight. Speed managed, AP1 on, following a flight plan. I did nothing when suddenly everything went completely off, engines and electrics, all lights and displays were dark.

We need a bit more, so we can try to replicate.

Flying in cruise we can do, spend hours on it. But we did not see this. We believe you had the issue, just that more things should have been happening for that to happen.
Those things would help us replicate.
What we gonna do is gonna run the A319 on the background on a long cruise to see if it happens.

Nothing happened before in that flight. I have spent over 600 hours in the Airbus family (FBW, ingame and your A319) and know all the procedures and checklists. I did the update for your plane and right on the first flight the error occurred.
I am waiting for the next update and still hope for more depth in the system (e.g. dual autopilot).
Thanks anyway

I also noticed another minor bug, this time in the EFB.
The aircraft loads with the animated passengers being displayed, but on the EFB the "Animated passengers" button is red ("empty"), as if the feature was turned off. In order to make the passengers disappear, you have to press the button (turns green), then press it again to switch the passenger off. I think the aircraft should either load with no passengers by default, or the EFB should display the corresponding button in green.
