Noticed on a test flight.
FOB: 15tons

Will reach TOC approx after 250nm ... climbing only with 400-500 ft/min....
Same in Open Climb.
With V/S theres no problem to climb with 1500 ft/min or more.

Yes, this is happening to me too. After passing 20,000 feet, it starts to climb without wanting to reach cruise, between 900, 800 and 600 FPM, climbing very slowly.

In this case, when it starts to behave like this, I set the IAS to 270 knots until cruising. It tends to run more.

The A330 is a good initial climber, after FL200 upwards its kind of slow depending on weight and weather. Usually a long haul flight takes from 30 to 35 minutes to reach cruise altitudes.
