Re: next plane is A330-900neo
Also anxious to try the A330 (moreso the A340 when released).
QUESTION for Anyone: How do I calibrate my Thrustmaster Airbus Throtttle so that the actual throttle indents match those on the plane in the sim? FBW has a method, as does the Fenix A320, plus most all other airliners in MSFS. Such an option seems to be missing in the "un-modded" (i.e. Horizon mods) LVFR Airbus aircraft. Watching a video on the A330 last night, there was no mention. Surely there is some way to match them.

Re: next plane is A330-900neo
I recently purchased an Xbox, Thrustmaster Capatin X pack and the LatinVFR airbus and was having a hell of a time getting the throttles to match the detent profile. Eventually, I discovered that the throttle needed to be manually configured. This can be done quickly and easily and just requires hard programming the throttle. There are some good guides out there with illustrations and explanations. And it took me a few tries to get it right, but now its perfect. I know the throttle came with this configuration guide, but it was confusing and not obvious. Hope this helps, it did for me.

Thanks.
I guess when you mentioned "hard programming" that scared me off. That is WAY above my pay grade (being retired I don't even have a pay grade )
I'll just wait until the 330 becomes available, then see if, perhaps, they may have addressed the issue.
Much appreciate your response.

Haha wasnt meant to scare. Just means it is done on the physical hardware and not through software. There is youtube videos and pdf's that are highly detailed with pictures.topcat1952 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2023 6:09 pmThanks.

Re: next plane is A330-900neo
I bought it and so far, I have to say I am disappointed a little bit.
Now I am a huge fan of the A320ceo and A321neo and I bought the A330-900neo straight away.
The cockpit sun blinds cover the EFB.
When starting a flight from the runway, the plane loads in with all screens black for a time before the plane seems to fall to the runway a bit and then everything comes alive.
Moving around the cockpit is extremely slow and juddery.
Finally, the plane seems to want to fly with an angle of attack of 11-12 degrees a lot, even when climbing slowly.
It could do with some TLC in future updates to be honest. I hope these are swiftly rolled out.

Thanks Brian.
I'll check it out.
Just bought the plane and, as expected, no throttle calibration option. Can't find any manual either.

I flew out of EGLL Heathrow.
I just attempted another flight out of Frankfurt and the game CTD.
