NOT WORKING!!!!
GUYS I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH LATIN LVFR A319/320/321
So today I tried to do a flight with the A320 THREE TIMES. Huge problems came out.
During the first flight, it crashed.
Then I switched it all off. Started the second one: I don’t like to use managed speed, so I set 250 knts until 5ft and then 290 from 5ft to 24ft. Until now all good. BUT, when I reach 24ft and I set Mach 0.78 and I press it, the plane does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, but it just starts loosing speed.
Third attempt: same of the second.
ALSO, when I set climb mode after take off, the plane doesn’t act in the correct way. It starts reducing speed after a while.
For the second and third attempt I started the flight from the runaway, not from a parking/gate. But I don’t really think this matters.
I then tried to change plane, livery, place. Nothing.
And yes, all the things are set correctly. I’ve checked over and over again.

I do everything in a correct way. I’ve always done it, as before yesterday I’ve never had any issues with your products…
I’ve also read of other people complaining about the same problems I mentioned in some FB groups.
There’s a problem.

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
Unless you can do a video on the issue you are having, I can't understand exactly what's the problem.
Are you able to upload to youtube a video of the issues you are having?
or at least take some screenshots of the cockpit when the problem begins please?

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
I can do a live on twitch and the the video will be saved on my channel ( franstheclown ) so that u can watch it. It’s the only way I’m thinking about. I’ll do it in the exact way I always do my flights, from departing to the gate to reaching cruise altitude. Is that okay?
*idk if it’s gonna be visible through the video, but I’ve also noticed that the plane tends to go a bit slower when on runaway for departure. Which was not happening some days ago… it takes quite a while to reach 190/200 knts, when I’m supposed to set climb mode.
*if I set climb mode before setting AP on, the plane goes correctly to climb immediately.
If I put AP on before setting climb mode, it’s not gonna work properly. The speed keeps going up.
* if the problem persists, you’ll notice that at 24ft I try to set 0.78 Mach and 1000 ft/min. At this point, it goes to 1000 ft/min but the speed starts going crazy. It doesn’t show that I selected 0.78 Mach and the speed will increase a bit, and then slow down right after.
*the way I’m gonna do things is the same one in which I always fly. And previously I’ve never had any of this problems.
*I appreciate your products a lot and I’m so demanding bc I feel quite “desperate” if I cannot use your planes. For me it’s basically: no LVFR no FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Thanks

So here’s the link guys.
*same problems I’ve been talking about
*the take off is a bit buggy because sometimes it happens that the plane tends to turn right or left while gaining speed for take off
*in the last comment I said that the plane goes correctly to climb and therefore reduces his speed immediately just if haven’t turn AP on yet. In this case, the problem was present even if AP was still off. You can see the the speed doesn’t decrease even if on the screen u can see that the plane is supposed to be in climb mode
*at around 20ft there has been a weird sudden loss of speed and altitude
*from 24ft on you’ll see all the other issues I mentioned. The plane starts going correctly at 1000 ft/min, but doesn’t speed up in the way I ask. It gains a bit of speed, doesn’t even reach 320 knts, and then starts slowing down by himself
*I show both external and internal view, trying to make you see that all the things are set correctly. Or at least, it has always worked in this way. Always.

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
That’s what a guy has just posted on a FB page. Also another one told me to have seen some posts of users with issues these days:
“Bought the Ivfr 320ceo the other day after using asobo 320neo for a long time and notice the climb performance on ceo seems to really under perform?
Any one else notice the performance difference or know if it's correct?”

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
In that video I did not see a crash.
What I saw was not the correct way of climbing using the energy the plane has for a consistent climb to cruise.
Reason is, many people use SPEED selection and VERTICAL SPEED. That method does not work with our aicraft because we have a bit more realistic flight model than the default.
You should please review the video I posted.
To climb you successfully you must either engage MANAGED mode on climb or OPEN CLIMB.
This way the aircraft climbs at a speed it can successfully reach the desired flight level.
If you want a specific speed on climb, dont use Vertical Speed, let it go in OPEN CLIMB, it will climb at the speed you select, and eventually reach cruise altitude.
Here is a video sample on the tutorial that is on the sim https://youtu.be/0AzenHUK-l0
The clip on 6:09 starts with the setting of the autopilot on OPEN CLIMB mode, which is the most convenient way of using the plane's energy to climb, not using vertial speed. Vertical speed is not used much in a modern airliner like the A320 which has so many more efficient and automated ways of flying.
Also the A320neo default climb rates is too fast and not realistic.

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
I will try to do as you said. Sure thing is that, even if VS and Speed are mainly left on managed mode, I’ve always followed the climb indicators given by SKYBrary, and it has all always gone perfectly with your aircrafts. With that I mean that I didn’t have any problems and the plane followed exactly what I was selecting. Now it’s not like that anymore and to be honest it’s a bit weird… and I don’t know why with the default A320neo the problem doesn’t come out; (maybe it’s because yours is more accurate)
So, basically I don’t use VS during climb, but anyway I can manage the speed if I want to. So if for example at 24ft I select 0.78 mach, it will work (?)
And for selecting climb mode in a good way, is it correct to bring the throttle from flx or toga to climb when it reaches a speed between 190/200 knts after take off? Because even if I do so, sometimes it takes a while to the plane to reduce the speed, being anyway in climb mode.
Thank you very much. I appreciate your work.

Re: NOT WORKING!!!!
You can select FL350 and speed .78 mach and the plane will climb at that speed, it may take a while longer to reach FL350 but it will eventually.Francesco wrote: ↑Thu Jun 15, 2023 2:46 amI will try to do as you said. Suggestion for climb to cruise is either OPEN CLIMB or managed mode. In your case you will be happer with OPEN CLIMB
Also on takeoff, I suggest you let the plane manage the speed, without any additional imput from you, once you retract flaps it should do 250 automatically then, once past 10k feet it will increase climb speed to 320kts till cruise level, which will be mach 0.78.
