A320 ceo MCDU

On the MCDU on the flight plan page, I’m the real aircraft you can see the distance to your destination airport change as you get closer (this helps when calculating the top of descent).
In the simulator, the distance never changes, making it a little harder to calculate the TOD. Do you think this could be apart of the MCDU update you’re working on?

that's a core part of the MCDU update. Along with that it will implement accurate VNAV. that's what we are working right now.

Will the new mcdu be able to program the go around path?

That's the plan.

The idea is to have the all basics work correctly on the MCDU.

Also, will there be any future updates possibly increasing the functionality of the overhead panels? I’d like to see irs, packs, engine fire, chrono, and calls. Other than that, really great product! Very much enjoying it

IRS will be with the MCDU update.

Packs would be on the next update.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I noticed the irs switches worked but they didn’t do anything, I was wondering what was going on with that but it’s good to know that it will have a function soon! Also when is the mcdu update planned to come out?

I’m pretty sure they mentioned somewhere on their Facebook that they animated the IRS switches but they will actually work in the coming MCDU update

correct, animated but not functional.
