Latin VFR & GSX
Latin VFR & GSX
Hello,
I recently purchased KMIA and it truly looks amazing . However, is there a way to change the jetway appearances? Possibly through GSX?
GSX allows the user to change the look of the jetways and I was hoping there is a way to do the same with Latin VFR products. I have the GSX Expansion 2 installed and it’s fun to watch the crew and passengers board but I don’t know how well LVFR integrates with GSX.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Latin VFR & GSX
Hi, did you install the 'SODE update' for KMIA. SODE jetways are there.
In any case I believe you still can choose to change the jetways. Our jetways integrate well with GSX. But if you will like to change them you still can, that's something you do with GSX2, which I don't know much about honestly.

I believe so. "SODE" is listed in the add-ons section of P3D. I ran the "LatinVFR_KMIA_P3Dv4_SODE.exe" to make sure. The jetways are there and they work but I can not change the appearance since the options are grayed out.

Re: Latin VFR & GSX
Hi, you will have to manually remove them from the SODE folder so you can add your own edited GSX2 jetways.
So go to PROGRAM DATA/12Bpilot/SODE/xml/ and delete the file LatinVFR_KMIA.xml

Thanks, Ricardo.
I deleted the file, but obviously there are no jetways now. When you mentioned " . . . your own edited GSX2 jetways." did you mean the default jetways from GSX or ones that must be custom created?
I was hoping that by deleting the .xml file as you suggested would allow the GSX2 jetways to be displayed and edited through GSX. Is this possible?
Sorry for bugging you about this but I'd really like to be able to customize the jetways via GSX2 interface. (The option to change jetways is still grayed out in GSX).

Hi, I must be honest and I am not truly acquainted with GSX2. So don't know much on how to modify or create jetways. Perhaps you can ask in their forums, if there is anything else you might need for me to do for you to accomplish let me know. But I am completely lost on that subject.

Thanks for the insight and your honesty. GSX is working on making it easier for users to create and install custom jetways so hopefully that will be out soon. Until then I’ll use the ones that came with LVFR

Hi, thanks for your comments. About the jetways for KMIA, we published yesterday on our facebook page some previews of the upcoming new version of KMIA, with the new jetways, these are the closest to being real, I would call them 'artisan jetways'.
