A321 does not manage speed on approach
I noticed that the A321 does not manage the speed independently during the landing approach, even if you enter the speed in the perf page.

What if you manually put the speed in the speed section of the autopilot?Plantsaredead wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 3:16 pmI noticed that the A321 does not manage the speed independently during the landing approach, even if you enter the speed in the perf page.

It works manually, but that's not the point. Normally the autopilot regulates the speed independently if the speed is managed. The speed is entered in the perf page in the MCDU in the approach phase and the Airbus regulates the speed according to the flap position. Works on the A320 too.

Will try to see whats the problem, but as we stated, these systems are entire replica of the A320 default systems. So will check.Plantsaredead wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 8:35 amIt works manually, but that's not the point. Normally the autopilot regulates the speed independently if the speed is managed.
