Low FPS at KSAN MSFS

I am getting this issue and have had this scenery for more than a year. Unfortunately I cannot upload a screenshot. It is the only airport where I suffer bad fps drop regardless of settings when facing the San Diego buildings. I own a good library of airports and they all run just fine.

I absolutely lost count how long I owned this airport as I bought it from the marketplace. I believe early 2021.

I think SU9 has made it worse. I own addons from Flightbeam, Flytampa,ORBX, FSDT,GAYA and have no performance issues. I also own your KMSY,KMIA, KFLL those run ok.

I think the culprit are the San Diego skylines. The airport itself is not the issue but the moment the camera faces the city it dips to 20fps.

I also have this problem when looking towards downtown San Diego. Drops a solid 10+ fps and becomes stuttery. Does not happen with default KSAN.

Hi I bought this 3 days ago. It’s been flawless facing the skyline for last 2 days , than today I take off day and it’s major stutter . I just took off now night time and it’s horrible as well stuttery low fps. I have not added any scenery or made any changes to
Any of my software or hardware . This is weird

We just updated KSAN to 1.05 removing the reason why you may have had this problem which was the aircraft carrier.

The update should be in the marketplace in the coming days.

Hi,

Thank you for the quick response. The aircaft carrier is not the problem. ive just updated my KSAN via Contrail and the problem still exists. My FPS display in dev mode shows good, whats takin a hit is the CPU based off the pics. The green bar goes to full yellow bar. when i pan away from SD skyline its back to smoothness. These pics are with default C208 caravan taking off RWY09 lookin at the skyscrapers/downtown SD.

PS. we need the aircraft carrier back USS Midway. its a piece of san diego thats historic.

all in all...problem of degradation still exists FYI

Ive included 4 pics just now ALL from virtual cockpit :

1) SD city skyline view degradation
2) SD city skyline Degradation FPS display info
3) Terminal view smoothness
4) Terminal view FPS display info

i have a 12700K (no overclock), 3080ti (no overclock), 32gb RAM (no overclock). MSFS is on samsung 970 M.2 drive @ 2tb and payware airports on seperate samsung M.2 drive @ 4tb
