Black squares east of KMSY (solved)

Post by holtjt » Sun Apr 14, 2019 11:55 pm

Not sure what is going on but the land class east of KMSY is black. I have AeroSoft's New Orleans scenery and Orbx Global base pack installed as well. I noticed from another post a person was having the same problem in the Miami KMIA scenery and you suggested to rename a land class file and it worked. There is only one LC file in the KMSY scenery file which I tried to rename .bgl to .bgX but didn't do anything. I also tried to turning off the city and surrounding photo scenery in the KMSY scenery configurator, no change. Tried to attach a snipit of it but was to large to attach. Any suggestions?

hi, that doesn't seem to be any element of our scenery. It seems to be either a land class tile or some other form of photo scenery but it isn't ours. Did you have US cities NOLA?

I have the same issue.

I have ORBX FTX Global and OLC NA installed. Usually, when I experience this issue some times it helps when I re-install FTX Global and OLC NA and run Force Migration afterwards.

This time this seems not to help. The issue is still there, even with latest version (1.3). Is there any terrain LC what can be deactivated in KMSY?

kind regards,
Harry

Hi, this is unrelated to our KMSY because customers uninstalled the scenery and it still showed.

If you can try uninstalling our scenery and check, so we can confirm.

we just received an email from a customer having the same issue, it turns out to be an orbx issue, he did a quick search in the ORBX forum, this is what he told me:
I will say the fix was to “Reverify Files” and “Force Migration” through their FTX Central Control Panel
