KFLL - non-PBR version has worse performance?

Is there a reason why the non-PBR scenery would have worse performance than the PBR version with identical settings and identical options in the scenery configurator?

I'm losing ~10 FPS in the non-PBR version where I'd expect it to be faster, right?

Hi, actually the main problem with the PBR version is VRAM, since this is a problem with p3dv5 which p3dv4 did not have.

If you are getting better performance and no VRAM issues with KFLL with normal PBR, then you don't need the non-PBR version.

I just came across this same issue with KFLL! I used to have the PBR KFLL installed and I also installed non-PBR KMIA when my virtual airline started flying there. It worked amazingly well-even with True Earth Florida on medium to high settings... Until I had to reinstall P3D and I figured I’d try both non PBR versions. Hoping Ricardo can help out-his scenery is some of the best and I just want to get my performance up and running again.

Wanna chime in and say I am experiencing this as well. Super strange.

The solution is to use the normal PBR version of KFLL, and bring down your settings as we asked. Reduce the visibility of scenery so KMIA doesn't pop out.
