LEMD runs out of VRAM

Post by LuisKMIA » Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:14 am

Hi Ricardo,

I recently had to uninstall LEMD for P3Dv5 because I'm running out of VRAM. I lowered settings to include unchecking static aircraft, HD ground airport (clutter) objects, and ramp animations in the configuration options. I also changed from the PBR version to non-PBR without success. I have the same exact settings running KFLL and KMIA simultaneously without having to use the KMIA deactivation option in the KFLL configuration menu. Running these two pushes the VRAM close to max, but I have no issues.

Is there anything else I should consider if I reinstall LEMD?

Thanks

Luis Linares

Hello Luis, what texture size are you using in display options?

Hi Ricardo, I'm using the max texture size. Should I reduce it?

Best,

Luis

I answered my own question. Going down one level in texture size did the trick. What had me baffled was LEMD using more VRAM than KMIA and KFLL combined at my high settings.

Thanks as always, Ricardo!
