Low FPS at KSAN MSFS

Well, putting my RAM speed back to the lower speed drops by a couple fps, but not to the slow speeds I was originally seeing. I'm confused, but I'm happy about it.

Trying one more thing -- enabling multiplayer and live traffic... drops a couple more fps as expected, but again not down to the 10-15 fps I was seeing before. Even with the slow RAM mode it stays above 24fps.

I fly in/out of KSAN fairly regularly so if I see it crop up again, I'll try to note conditions and switch on developer mode to track down if it's CPU or GPU limited and report back.

In the meantime, I'm going to bump that rating back up to 5 stars because the buildings look great and I'm really looking forward to landing on that carrier!

I have been having this exact same issue since I first purchased the software about 3 months ago. Facing the east side of the airport, from the parking lot next to the parked Southwest jet, all the way until the end of the taxiway. As long as I am facing east or southeast, my fps drops anywhere from 10 to 15 fps. Facing any other way, I get anywhere from 30 to 40 fps on high. I've tried everything from reinstalling msfs to enable /disable rolling cache, manually caching the area, reinstalling/updating the KSAN scenery, and everything in between. I hope there's a fix.

The default scenery works just fine. I've no issues with default KSAN. The issue is so obvious, that even while in the air, just facing the general direction of the parking lot/marina/downtown will massively drop fps. Sometimes into the teens.

Well, it seems this might be casued by the aircraft carrier.

Do you have the Marketplace version or our shop's version?

I ask if you can test for us without the carrier.

I have the marketplace version. Is there a specific scenery I can delete to remove the carrier? I'll look around in the content manager.

Hi, no there is no specific file. I need for someone who bought directly from our shop to email us if they are having the same issue. So we can test with this person.
