KMIA p3dv5

Post by Greg9154 » Tue Jun 30, 2020 9:31 am

I tried to install KMIA unto v5 yesterday. It caused an immediate out of GPU memory error and CTD. I have a number of different very detailed airports and this is the first one to cause and issue. I test after every new scenery install so I can pick up any issue My settings are set at high for most setting sliders. FPS locked at 30 FPS. Special effects at med and only add on program is active sky. I e tried lower settings and same result CTD. am I missing something? Is there a trick or has someone figured out a fix for settings. In P3D v4 I could never run EHAM but KMIA was no issue. Now EHAM (fly Tampa) is solid 30 FPS but can’t run KMIA. I know different product but it is just an example. Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks
Greg

Ok, so I loaded KMIA again and cut back on alot of the detail. It ran fine. No photo real scenery, no animations and no static vehicles. I will try this for now as it ran at 30 FPS until I got close to KFLL, than it hung. I can make some slight adjustments and it will be fine I am sure. I have a high end system, so I'll make it work.

KMIA is unusable for me in v5.

It CTDs at about 50% of the 'load up'
