black scenery LEMD (resolved)

Post by dutchkip » Sun Jun 21, 2020 10:18 am

Hi there,
Am in the process of re-installing LEMD but keep getting error message a decompression error has occurred (#2026)
Unknown decompression error.

Any idea how to solve this?
I am re-installing after finding scenery full of black buildings.
System info: I7 9700K clocked to 4.6MHz, 32GB memory, Nvidia RTX2080Super P3D installed on second nvme SSD 1TB.

Hoping to hear from you.

hi, decompression is usually a faulty download, try re-downloading.

Hi Ricardo,

Un-installed LEMD v1.1 again, downloaded it again, re-installed it,
Installed hotfix and sode hotfix.
Still the same, dark buildings, as before.

Leo

Hi,

Total of 84 files in the scenery folder.
Attached pictures of my display settings.
Note I have 2 Graphics cards installed RTX2080 Super for P3D and GTX1080 for EFB and other displays.
I have also tried it on lowered settings but it does not make a difference.

Thanks and regards
Leo

Do you have any other PBR airports installed?and if so you don't have black buildings there too?

That's about right, there must be some issues with your graphics card, and PBR textures, send us an email and we will send you non-PBR version of LEMD.

BTW, I would have wanted to see the 'lighting' options section screenshot too.
