Hi guys,
Am putting this in the p3dv5 section but p3dv4.5 may also be part of the problem, as I currently have both installed.
This all started when I noticed a very high gpu mem issue yesterday that caused me no end of grief with both my LVFR products KMIA and KFLL. Where the tarmac looked like it was covered in ice. but I believe that was due to sode 1.7.
Unfortunately I then deleted my lvfr scenery for both airports trying to remedy the fix.
Part of my problems are that in the windows start menu under the LVFR heading the 29 palm customizable scenery configurator does not show which is p3dv4 and which is v5 and when started both show scenery configure p3d4.
I should also add the uninstaller did not seem to do anything and left the files in place.
anyway, after sorting it all out I have installed KMIA back into P3dv4.5 including the sode hot fix and all seems ok.
I then went to install KMIA into P3dv5 and after install I get a message when starting P3dv5 as follows
There are multiple objects with the same title name they must have unique title names
LVFR_KMIA_ jetway 0
C:\programdata\12bpilot\sode\simobjects\Llatinvfr_KMIA_PBR
I get the same message for jetwaystatic00 jetway1 and jetway10
the sim does run but I get what looks like 2 sets of jetways but ground textures look like default and look very different to the ground textures of the P3dv4.5 version.
I have checked the 12bpilots folder and I have 2 folders in there connected to LVFR one says LVFR KMIA the other says LVFR KMIA_PBR
The non pbr folder has 6 entries and the pbr has 9 entries
Any ideas what the issues are? or solutions.
Also the windows start menu options for configuration is very confusing can they be renamed without causing more problems?
Many thanks for any help you can suggest
Sode and other issues
Re: Sode and other issues
edit:
I have also noticed that there are some extra gates in the p3dv5 C5 being one but there are more
Are these possibly related to the default scenery?

Hi, run the KMIA v4 uninstaller. It seems you got the jetways from V4. If you run the uninstaller it should be removed.mazelda wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 11:29 amHi guys,

Hi,
Thanks. Would that not delete my P3dv4 install?
I will give it a try anyway.
I still use that sim, as my p3dv5 install suffers a bit due to a 6gb graphic card.
Ideally I would like to have both sims installed with all my airports as they become available from the different companies

Hi, if you use P3dv4.5 and P3dv5 you won't have any issues removing the old SODE files.mazelda wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2020 3:38 pmHi,
