EGKK London gatwick
Although there is 2 developers with this airport on the market. uk2000 which is very outdated using old technologies. And Jennasoft Gatwick which no longer answers posts on forums or responds to emails. It would be good to have someone develop this airport with the latest technologies for P3D V5. Its a very common airport for simmers and people are screaming out for a quality Gatwick airport. Maybe you could look into this.
Re: EGKK London gatwick
In my opinion there's no need for a new Gatwick, the two developers have the market for it more than covered.
Both sceneries are said to work in P3D v5, although I can't confirm this.
The current version of UK2000 Gatwick might be a bit outdated, but every few years they release a new version for their major products such as Gatwick. Recently they switched from the old "Xtreme" airports to "HD" airports, which uses newer technology. Inverness and Bristol have already been developed with this new technology, Gatwick is likely to follow somewhere in the coming time.
Jennasoft Gatwick is currently the most accurate, but it seems like they've gone up in smoke after the release of their Gatwick scenery. Their website still says "Merry Christmas". Still, the scenery itself doesn't look too bad.
Building with the newest P3D v5 technologies might have the disadvantage that you break compatibility with older sim versions. P3D v4 is still widely used and even FSX is still there. Both existing sceneries work in those sims. If you build a scenery strictly for P3D v5, you have a very small market. And in order to make it work in older sims you have to delete the new P3D v5 technologies and replace them with older ones.

Re: EGKK London gatwick
I agree with what you are saying. UK2000 have released an update for version 5 but does not look so well in version 5 as opposed to version 4.
I have tested jennasoft gatwick in version 5 and it is not compatible as it stands. I have finally managed to get a reply via email from the developer of jennasoft and they have stated they will work on an update soon to make it compatible with version 5 but cannot say when this update will be available. Giving their track record for development and updates I wouldn't hold my breath to see anything in the coming months.
