I am not sure of what implications this has, but, every LatinVFR folder in my ...\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\ has a file called information.cfg.
Everyone of those has within it a section that points to v4 (still installed in my system):

Prepar3D.cfg path=C:\Users\Joe Lorenc\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
add-on.cfg path=C:\Users\Joe Lorenc\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
scenery.cfg path=C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
Sceneries so far seem ok, but pointing this out because it does seem odd . . .
