Devs,
I conducted two flights into BWI with me landing at runway 33L and I would come up on 300 ft on short final and all of the sudden find myself on the runway all the sudden with a very bad landing rating. I completely missed the epic touchdown only to find myself immediately on the runway at about 200-300 feet. I wasn't sure if this was related to the elevation issues in a previous topic.

Hi, this is odd, what addons you were using, and was it with cash detection on?

I was using Orbx Global and crash detection is off. No other addons for KBWI

I have landed at that runway before many times, can you start your flight at KBWI with a default aircraft and circle back and land at 33L and see if it happens again?

Re: Elevation Landing into BWI
I did three passes into 33L with AC11 Commander and the TFDI B717 while playing Air Hauler 2. I forgot to mention this occurred while in the B717 and during a rating flight with AH2 and a PAX revenue flight into 33L during the evening.
(Gee wiz) For checks for AH2 I done a rescan of all scenery and had no issues going into BWI.
I remember having similar issues with FS9 and FSX regarding elevation issues. Ill record the next issue on shadow play and post to this forum if it occurs again to rule out scenery.

LM has identified this issue and they are planning on fixing this in the near future. Is not a problem of the scenery.

Re: Elevation Landing into BWI
Just had the same issue this morning landing on 33L. Using PMDG 737 on P3D 5.1 HF1. I have my mesh set to 1m and am not using any other KBWI scenery.
I've read that the product comes with a custom mesh. Is is possible to deactivate the mesh? I wouldn't mind having a flat airport if I can avoid 500+ feet per minute landings while approaching the runway with 200 ft/min. Also having bumps on the taxiways, feels like climbing a stair.
It's a great product, would just hate not fly there anymore because of that.

Re: Elevation Landing into BWI
Hi, we can't de-activate the custom mesh.
Like I mentioned this is an issue with the way P3d handles elevation changes on different airports. We are waiting for LM to address this issue. Our apologies.
