Is there a fix for this yet? also had an issue on final to runway 18L, aircraft crashed after a 7 hour flight. Went under the airport scenery.
Any fix available?

Hi, how did yo go under the airport scenery? can you explain how this happened, during landing, rollout?

Hi Ricardo, I was on ILS approach to runway 18L and at around 200ft from the runway I hit an invisible object then the aircraft went below the scenery and crashed. It was a few feet away from the runway but as I got closer the aircraft went under it and crashed. its as if the runway was floating above the real terrain.

you hit an object and the plane dived? strange, before the runway what we have is a 3d mesh, you might go under it as long its not the runway. What I find strange the most is the object you hit. You fly with crash detection on?

Hi Ricardo it was an object, and no I don't fly with crash detection on, but the plane hit something then sunk to the ground below the airport.. try to run an ILS on 18L let me know if it happens to you.

Hi, have tried doing this approach many times, without crash detection, its impossible to hit something with crash detection off. Perhaps you stalled short of final? in any case I will try again, but where ever you end up, I think I have an idea, its before the runway, yes you should have expected terrain not fall through it, but again I wouldn't expect pilots to land before the runway, more when its a displaced threshold thousands of feet long on 18R.

Hi Ricardo went ahead and loaded the default F22 on runway 18L and guess what, the terrain is blocking the runway. The aircraft starts nose down and then slides and goes to the grass beside the runway and then sinks under the airport.
Something is wrong on that runway for sure, I have version 1.1 and it is not working properly.
How can I change the layers since I see its blocked in the scenery order page.
Here is a screenshot of my scenery order page. Not being able to move LEMD anywhere.

Thanks!
Teo

Hi, can you show me a picture of where exactly is it you are sinking and placing the aircraft on 18L?

I just go into P3Dv4.5 go to LEMD and set the aircraft on runway 18L from the menu.
That's it..
The aircraft appears on top of the airport and falls down and then under the grass below the airport.

Hi, with the latest version of LEMD you don't have an 18L start, in any case you are right, on the area before the runway you might sink, we are to look into this for a fix.
