KMIA - Jetways

Post by CptAirbus » Thu Nov 14, 2024 9:15 pm

At Miami Airport (KMIA) the jetways are not docked properly. Example Gate D7 - there are large gaps to the aircraft door (Fenix A320).
I would like an update.

Is there anyone who can answer or is the entire support team on a company outing?

Hi,
The jetways might need some adjustment in the scenery design. You could try contacting support directly or checking if there’s an update available for the airport. Sometimes reinstalling helps too.

Hi,

Thank you very much for the turbo response after 4 weeks.
The first response to my error message was really a great effort.
Evidently there is no support at LVFR.
There is nothing to be found on the LVFR website other than the forum.
I will avoid LVFR products in the future.

Very sorry, we for some reason neglected this specific forum and threads.

Some jetways because of their distance need the plane to be closer to it, even if it means not aligning with the yellow gate centerline.

This is due to the jetway not activating because of the aircraft distance. Our apologies but we suggest you get closer.

The jetway is activated and tries to dock.
So either the jetway does not extend far enough, or the positioning of the yellow line is not correct at this airport.
