SIM update 11 APU faulty
SIM update 11 APU faulty
Since SIM Update 11 there is a bug with the APU. After pressing "APU Master" and pressing "APU Start", the "APU Start" light goes out again and the APU engine does not start either.

Can confirm, managed to start the APU after clicking the APU start a second time a minute later.

Yes, I noticed that too. But this is new and I don't think it's normal. Thank you for your investigation.

In the meantime, clicking it twice on "Start" should work

Re: SIM update 11 APU faulty
I noticed that if I switch on the fuel pumps before pressing the APU starter then the APU will start normally. Maybe this is only because it takes more time to get there and not related to the fuel pumps at all. But I changed my startup procedure this way and it seemed to help.
Re: SIM update 11 APU faulty
Strange and not a normal procedure. The fuel pumps are actually only switched on shortly before or during the pushback. At this point, the APU is usually already running.

Re: SIM update 11 APU faulty
According to Airbus,
-The APU uses fuel from the left wing tank only.
-If both main fuel pumps in the left wing tank are off, the APU Fuel Pump will be automatically activated.
If it is not working, we will need to investigate further.
