A340 after last update.

Post by Scandfox » Mon Oct 14, 2024 1:33 pm

I tried Your A340 after last update and hoped that I could fly it in normal way but not

1. Fuel page shows empty tanks i Yellow shall be Green
2. Unable to edit Flightplan
3. APU doesn't connect to Electrical system when External Power is removed, shall autoconnect .

I gave up before boarding.

I have flown A340-300 IRL in SAS so I bought this from You to make some nice flights ............

Looking Forward Next Update

So these items did not happen before that recent update?

The edit flight plan is something that will only be possible with our avionics update.

and its an honor to meet an ex-A340-300 pilot.

In the coming weeks we will release an avionics update which should improve significantly the experience.

If You have any "Pilots" in Your group let him plan a flight in Simbrief, the Plane has Ground Power connected, add flightplan from EFB and change STAR for Destination and try to fly the whole flight.
Wait until avionics update. If it Works OK I will be happy.

I have seen Your video with Your MCDU and FUEL on ECAM and I look forward coming weeks.

Today I tried a Takeoff from EFTU and the plane flew away by itself like a Drone with Me fully Pitch Down. When i got control and engaged AP it went down to ground in Managed mode and climbed in Open climb. FD had to be engage manually.

Speaking of the A340, if I may point out one small issue and a suggestion, both livery related:

-In the TAP livery, there's a mistake in the name of the plane, which is "Fernão Gomes Pinto", not "Ferñao" as it's written in the A340;

-Is it possible to add a TAM livery? It would complement the classic LAN livery very nicely!

That said, I'm looking forward to the avionics update, when it's ready, cheers
