KMSY - No jetway can operate at this position
Hi Ricardo,
I've just installed KMSY in P3D v4.5 HF2 and positioned my PMDG738 at both a small and heavy gate. When calling GSX to connect the jetway the message "No jetway can operate at this position" was displayed.
The jetway is visible and SODE is installed and correctly registered. Any suggestions?

Re: KMSY - No jetway can operate at this position
Some success but I'm still confused about how best to operate SODE jetways. At B6 the GSX menu to operate the jetway does not work. But if I select Add-ons - SODE 1.6.4 - Text-Menu Command: Tab+S a SODE menu then appears with an option to dock the jetway.
Isn't that the old way of operating jetways? I thought if the user had GSX it would work using that system. Also, nothing is listed in the manual about which jetways are SODE-enabled. Are they all? And if so do I have to use Tab+S to operate them?

Hi Ricardo,
I've resolved the situation by installing 3rd party glass jetways. Those can now be operated within the GSX menu.

Hi, this is strange, did you try getting the aircraft a bit closer to the jetway?

Hi Ricardo,
Yes, tried several times at different gates. I have 4 other airports of yours and don’t recall having this problem. As I said, I’ve now installed alternative gates using Cartayna files. You may have heard of him.
Lovely scenery by the way.

I agree Ricardo but I’m pretty experienced with P3D and couldn’t get the jetways to work except using tab+s which is inconvenient. Not to worry.

This might have to do with a previous GSX or modified GSX profile. Would have checked to see if there is any conflict there.Ray Proudfoot wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 7:50 pmI agree Ricardo but I’m pretty experienced with P3D and couldn’t get the jetways to work except using tab+s which is inconvenient. Ricardo, there have been lots of changes to GSX in recent weeks so I suspect that is the cause of my problems and not your SODE files. But convincing Umberto is not easy.
As I said earlier I am using Cartayna files now and all is well.

Yep, im having this problem at SCEL, specifically at gate 21 which i was departing from minutes ago.
No matter how i accommodate the aircraft or what door i choose, i get the "Too far" message all the time. I just continued my flight and forgot about it for the while, but i will test a bit more after arriving.
Happy Flying!
