Qs Before I buy A330

Post by DDare » Mon Jun 17, 2024 6:23 pm

Just a couple of quick questions. No Autoland feature, correct? Does the progress page work at all? Will it tell me how many miles and/time to destination? How well does VNav work? Does Rnav approaches work? ILS approaches? Am I able to use the native flight planner or does it use simbrief imported plans only? That's all I can think of for now. I'm not expecting a study level aircraft, but I also don't think this should be priced at study level prices either. When's' the next sale? Thanks

Hi, prices aren't study level. In any case, we are working on the avionics so that they are much better and having most of those features work.

I appreciate what you guys are doing. You've found a little niche market of Xbox simmers who want something more than the default planes but don't want something quite as sophisticated and time consuming as study level aircraft. I'm right in that demograph of potential customers in your market. But seeing how I paid $35 for a 737 that IS a study level aircraft and took way more resources to create than your planes, it is hard to justify paying the same price for your plane. A reasonable price for the A340 and A330 would seem to be closer to $25. At that price I might bite. And a lot of other potential buyers might too. Not at the current price. Especially with no autoland, rnav or other features. Do the math. You're going to have more buyers at the right price. At the price it's at now, you lose. Good luck.

Hi, prices are determined internally that reflect future updates. We have continuously updated all of our airplanes and continue to do so.

The pricing supports our continue investment into these planes even way after they are released.

In any case sporadically sales promotion happen that can reach the prices you are looking for. We don't know when the next one is.

we are advancing well with liveries and the coding team is on the avionics side of things, once that's done we will look into finalizing the A330-200

Hey guys, I just want to first, thank you for the sale. The sale was enough to entice me into buying one of your planes. I purchased the A330. I was so impressed with it I decided to also purchase the A320ceo. I must say. I'm totally blown away by it. You guys have done an excellent job. I like that I can use either MS flight plans or Simbriefs. The sounds are incredible. It really makes me feel like I'm on the plane. So much better than Inibuids sounds. The lighting is also excellent. The A330 flies nice. I haven't had a chance to go through the passenger cabins yet. To be honest I've only done about an hour of flying between the two but I wanted to take a break for from my simming to congratulate you on a job well done. Whiile it's not a study AC, this kind of aircraft is what a lot of us want. Still on my wish list. Autoland, Rnav approaches. and a working progress page.

Thanks again. You have a customer. As I was saying, when it's priced right, sales will follow!!
