Hi,
I'm encountering the following bug the last few times I flew the A340.
I created a flightplan with Simbrief and imported it into the A340.
The route is imported correctly and everything is fine at the beginning.
Sometime during the flight suddenly the flight plan disappears and the speed is reduced to 200 knots, almost if the plane switched to approach mode. The flight plan re-appears but now I have to select the speed manually in order to fly faster. Managed speed doesn't work anymore.
Any idea what the problem is?

About 3 1/2 hour flight. About one hour into the flight it happens.

When the FP dissapears, what were you doing, did you try anything on the CDU? or you were not doing anything and all of the sudden this happened?

I did nothing at all. Airplane was on autopilot. The flight plan line disappeard, speed indicator showed 200 knots, thrust was reduced, fp re-appeared, managed speed didn't work afterwards. Only manual input of speed

It must be that for some reason appr mode was activated. We are now focused on the avionics side of things, to fix the issues. We apologize in the meantime.
