Hi LVFR,
when i'm sitting in the captain seat it is not possible for me to turn on the Landing and taxing light with my mouse. If i try to do it the sun screen comes down instead of turning on the landing lights.
Can you please correct this so that the click spots are possible ?
Thanks
Best regards
Fabian

Re: Landing light control from captain seat
Apologies for the late reply.
There are ways to do this, but you will need to set up some controls first. As an example, I will give you the keys I use.
To move around the cockpit, I use the arrow keys and page up/page down keys. You can do this by setting control options...
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Translate Cockpit View Right > RIGHT(Keyboard Right)
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Translate Cockpit View Left > LEFT (Keyboard Left)
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Translate Cockpit View Forward > UP (Keyboard Up)
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Translate Cockpit View Backward > DOWN (Keyboard Right)
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Increase Cockpit View Height > PAGE UP
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Decrease Cockpit View Height > PAGE DOWN
Now that you can effectively move around the cockpit space, these are the keys I use to save camera views. Set them in control options...
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 9 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 9
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 8 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 8
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 7 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 7
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 6 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 6
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 5 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 5
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 4 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 4
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 3 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 3
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 2 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 2
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 1 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 1
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Save Custom Camera 0 > RIGHT CTRL + NUM 0
Now that you can save custom camera views, you can recall them by pressing just the num key by setting control options...
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 9 > NUM 9
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 8 > NUM 8
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 7 > NUM 7
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 6 > NUM 6
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 5 > NUM 5
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 4 > NUM 4
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 3 > NUM 3
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 2 > NUM 2
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 1 > NUM 1
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Load Custom Camera 0 > NUM 0
I also use my middle mouse button to 'unlock' the freelook to look around, the click middle mouse button to 'lock' the freelook so I can use the mouse to interact with the cockpit. You can do this by setting control options...
Mouse > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Toggle Cockpit Freelook > MID-CLICK (Middle Mouse Button)
Mouse > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Cockpit Look Left (Lockable) > AXIS X- (Mouse Left)
Mouse > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Cockpit Look Right (Lockable) > AXIS X+ (Mouse Right)
Mouse > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Cockpit Look Down (Lockable) > AXIS Y+ (Mouse Down)
Mouse > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Cockpit Look Up (Lockable) > AXIS X- (Mouse Up)
I prefer to use the + and - keyboard buttons to zoom in/out, so I set those to control options...
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Zoom Cockpit View > =
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Unzoom Cockpit View > -
I reset the cockpit view by control options...
Keyboard > Camera > Cockpit Camera > Reset Cockpit View > \
I hope this is helpful to your and anyone else looking for an easy way to move around the cockpit, look around, interact with the cockpit, and save and load camera views.
