EGT mismatch in climb A330-900

Post by Asullyflight » Thu Feb 22, 2024 3:31 pm

Hi I wondered if you can help I have a egt fail on engine 1 , I have only just noticed it as it creates an engine failure in PACX, am I doing something wrong?.

Thanks

Yes correct, as soon as i get into climb, it will then go into minus numbers, however keeping thrust, on the N1 but the F.Used is showing zero on the left engine.

It then triggers a engine faliure in flight, however only in PACX not MSFS2020. i didnt know if there was something i missed additional from the checklist ?. however after watching your videos it seems maybe not. i have the a321 and that flys perfect using the checklists and standard.

Thanks

This issue is tied with the problem with the fuel used, and happens when fuel is automatically transferred forward. This is on the todo list of fixes.

Thank you .

Hi,

Thank you very much, for taking the time to investigate .

yes I was just going to say left engine goes to 0 fuel after takeoff but still runs, I have had it randomly kick back in mid flight but rare.

Also just an fyi, I was testing random ideas such as clicking on Ai piloting and it seemed to restart the engines strangely then egt & fuel corrected and started working correctly like the left engine.

That may be by quick fix for now until a fix is added by yourselves.

Thanks again
