Very little grip on front tyre when turning during taxu

Post by COT_87 » Fri Oct 20, 2023 8:54 am

I have noticed that the front tyre has very little grip when turning during taxi. Even if I slow down a lot while taking the turns it still pushes wide way too easily. Basically front grip needs to be increased

Thank you. If grip or modelling could be made better it would transform the taxi experience.

I'm on PC and the main reason I stopped using the headwind was the awful ground handling. I would love if you could fix this issue. Your 319 and 320 models do not have this issue.

Another good example of this issue from a real A330 pilot. In fact, the entire video is a good review of the positives and current issues with this model.

We sent an update to microsoft last sunday with urgent fixes. It seems that will be released next week. But the following update will fix this problem. Our apologies

That's great news. I liked 737drivers review of the model. He took it for what it was and unlike others was not critical of it not being a study level airplane, unlike others who don't seem to get it. Looking forward to the next few updates.

Still not possible to Taxi Sharp corners, even below 10kt in idle. You can See the frontwheel is full in one direction but the plane corners Not the Same angle
