Ricardo,

I've downloaded and attempted to install both hot fixes, but the water polygons are still there all the time at both airports.

When I run the installers, the both attempt to install into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\" folder, which does not exist on my system. I am running P3Dv4.5HF2 (E:\P3D\Prepar3D v4) and I also have P3Dv5 installed (E:\P3D5\Prepar3D v5). There is no way to browse to the correct location to install the hot fix.


For v4.5, which is what I am trying to fix right now. (Not messing with v5 at the moment...)
KMIA is installed in E:\P3D\Addon Scenery\LatinVFR\Miami_KMIA\
KMSY is installed in E:\P3D\Addon Scenery\LatinVFR\New Orleans_KMSY\

I saw in one of your posts that the fix only replaces 1 file. Which one? I'll search my drive to see where (if) it landed.

Hi, sorry I know its confusing, but ignore that please, it will install the hotfix at the location of where SODE is installed. Just let the hotfix run and everything will be ok.

The file it replaces is on programdata/12bpilot/SODE/xml

is the xml file for the respective airport, it will fix for any simulator version.

The files were updated properly. I'm not sure why, but I had the water polygons showing with the weather set to clear skies through 3 P3D restarts. I read your post, checked the files, and tried again and both airports were fine.

Where again is the hotfix located?
