Screen flashing when spawning at KMSY (NOT Solved)

Just bought this scenery and have been flying to and from KMSY with no issue until today. Was concerned this an issue at other airports, but it's only happening when I spawn at KMSY. If I start at a different airport, there's no flashing.

The only change to my system is the Maddog released an update today, which I just installed.
I'm able to spawn at other airports without this problem.

I noticed a thread from another user with the same issue, and the fix came for him after reinstalling windows. I unfortunately won't be able to do that.
There's been no windows update in the past few days. KMSY was working fine yesterday.

What I'm going to try now is a flight into KMSY and see what happens.

Update - I attempted a flight from KATL - KMSY. No issues until 50 miles from the airport, descending through fl180, the flashing starts and nothing can be seen in the sim outside of the aircraft.

there is something definitely wrong with the area KMSY is in. Strange that up until today, I've been able to fly into and out of KMSY with no problems,

I tried to disable the options as mentioned in a previous post, however, that did not help.

Appreciate any suggestions for a fix. Thanks

Hi, this is very odd, considering you had been using the scenery without any issues.

So the only thing different is you installed an update to the maddog?
can you try installing the latest video card drivers?

I do have the latest drivers.

The drivers were updated before I installed KMSY. There's been no updates since.

Strange. Just as sudden the problem appeared, it has disappeared.

What changed since yesterday - Maddog released another update, citing a major issue that needed updating. Perhaps something in the install of the maddog affected PBR?
I also reinstalled KMSY. I couldn't find an uninstaller, so I just ran the installer again. it didn't seem to do anything though.

Just glad it's working again. I will keep an eye and report any changes.

This is the worst kind of problem. Didn't find out what the root cause was and what fixed it.

So after some time, this issue has returned. It's been some time since I flew into this airport, it's possible the problem has been there for some time.
I recall when I first had the problem, it seemed to just resolve itself, but obviously, something caused it to happen and something made it stop. Just haven't figured out what it is.

As of now, KMSY is unusable for me. It seems at least one other person had the same issue, but was able to resolve by reinstalling Windows - this isn't an option for me, hoping someone knows what's going on and how to fix.

Hi, there might be a faulty installation here, this I think happened in the past if some texture files are missing.

Do this, uninstall KMSY, re-install it, and check again. Let me know
