KRDU configurator

Post by jalderman1972 » Tue Feb 12, 2019 4:53 pm

Hello

I have the KRDU, KSAN and KMIA airports. The KMIA configurator was automatically placed on my desktop after installation. When I installed KSAN I had to do a search for the "KSAN configurator" and then "OPEN FILE LOCATION" and then copy and paste the shortcut on my desktop. It seems though that there is no configurator for KRDU after I installed it. I have searched and cant find it.

My question is why is there a difference in when and or where the confiurators are after installtion? Also how do I get or usea configurator for KRDU?

Thanks

Jason

Hi, there are a few of our airports that have no configurator... one of them is KRDU.

It may be that for KMIA it was set on the installer, we apologize for this issue but we will make sure that the configurator is added automatically to your desktop.

Are you saying that you are maybe make one for KRDU? Or are you just saying that from this point forward you will try to see to it that the installer puts a shortcut on the desktop?

Thanks

We never did one for KRDU because it did not include photo scenery for surrounding areas. Nor any other sort of objects that might affect performance. Upon installation you were asked if you would like static aircraft. But since there weren't that many things to be optional in KRDU it was never done.

What sort of things were you looking for to in the 'scenery configurator' for KRDU, if it had one?

To be honest I guess I wasn't looking for anything specific. It may seem kind of silly but I guess I put the other configurators on my desktop and I figured I would put that one there also but I couldn't find it. Thanks for the explanation.

No problem at all, thank you for bringing this up, we will try to do this uniformly as we release products.
