SCEL v2.2 parking position sizes

Post by mrfilbert » Mon Jan 28, 2019 9:28 am

Hi,

I believe that some of the parking positions are incorrectly sized. GSX informed me that gate 18 was too small for my 788. I was able to change the size in GSX and, obviously, the aircraft was not too big for it, but there was no AI traffic at the surrounding gates (16-25), which I believe points to an ADE problem?

Regards,
Filbert

Hi, we made those gates smaller because by 2020 that will be a 'domestic terminal' only and no heavies will further use it.

ok now that you mentioned the parking position there is a review on simmarket to SCELv2.2 that says:

Very nice scenery with nice levels of detail. However, the scenery does not accurately simulate SCEL as stand 10-14 should be east facing and stand 15 south-east facing, yet in the LatinVFR rendition they are all south facing. Hopefully they will rectify this issue in upcoming updates, as I do enjoy flying into this airport, especially from Europe.
We emailed this customer and told him:

Hi,

Thank you for your review on SCELv2. There is one important thing in regards your metion of the stands facing east. The reason they are facing south is that in the master plan for SCEL for 2020 those gates are removed

and they are eventually made facing south/north. Because of the new gates they will be closed. In our scenery product page we said it was made with that master plan in mind.
