KMIA and KMSY: Missing Terminal Building Textures (resolved)
Greetings:
I recently bought and installed KMIA, KMSY, KRSW and KEYW. KRSW and KEYW display correctly but KMIA is missing all building textures and KMSY displays building interiors and only some exteriors.
Is this a PBR texture problem? I also have LVFR KSNA and KSAN and have no problems with them.
I don't have KFLL so that's not an issue. I do have Orbx Global Base Pack and Vector but all my Airports and Regions are West-Coast and I have no other installations in Louisiana or Florida.
I updated to P3D 4.5, uninstalled and reinstalled KMIA and KMSY but display problems persist.
Help will be appreciated,
Jim Martin

Ricardo:
Thanks for your very prompt reply.
I had already uninstalled P3D 4.0 and installed the 4.5.13.32097 full download but I wasn't sure that included Hotfix 1 & 2 so I reinstalled the full install last night (using the Repair Option) and I see from their forum that 4.5.13.32097 does include Hotfix 1 and 2.
Unfortunately, I still can't get KMIA and KMSY to display properly.
Additionally, neither of the Config Editors work correctly either due to an "unhandled exception." See attachments below.
Thanks,
Jim Martin

As for not having the buildings, you don't have tomatshade or any other addon shader program?

Ricardo:
Thanks for your reply.
One small victory: The "Run as Admin" for the config files worked fine. I un-checked all the check boxes to see if it helped with the building textures but it did not.
Shader Programs
I don't have any that I know of. Didn't see any in "Add/Delete Programs."
I did see an Orbx post advising to delete the P3D Shader File and allow it to regenerate. The issue was black textures everywhere. This didn't help KMIA and KMSY but it did improve an issue with black inland water textures.
Might you direct me to the Texture Files so I can confirm I have the necessary files? I really want these two LVFR airports.....and more.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: KMIA and KMSY: Missing Terminal Building Textures
It seems you do have the files, you are only missing the PBR elements.
So there is a serious issue here with your installation. Send me an email to support@latinvfr.com so we can test with other things

Resolved!
Turns out I did not have P3Dv4.5 installed. I did run the installer and it did seem the installation was successful but, since problems persisted, I checked the P3D.exe properties and details. Sure enough (and you suspected) I only had 4.0 installed.
One I installed 4.5 (and verified via the .exe file) all my texture problems were resolved. In fact, I was able to install two more LVFR sceneries today and they work perfectly.
Sorry for the wild goose chase but, thanks very much for your support.
