Unflyable FPS at KFLL
Unflyable FPS at KFLL
Hi,
I purchased and installed FLL today. When I first started, FPS were around 2-3. When I disabled MIA and disabled the sloped runway AI, it increased to maybe 4-5fps. Either way it's unflyable for me. I know it is caused by FLL because I go to the default MIA and get decent FPS, same with airports to the north. For reference, my computer can run complex aircraft at complex airports easily around 20-30fps.
Could this be due to the sloping runway? I notice when loading the scenario, FLL takes longer to load terrain data. Could disabling the sloped runway completely be an option in a new update? Or, what else can be causing this?
Thanks,
jdennis1

I have also lowered sim texture resolution to 2048, with no effect.

Hi, your system is kind of the low end side. fly with dynamic reflections off, let me know how it goes.jdennis1 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 3:22 pmWindows 10, P3D V4.5RicardoLVFR wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 12:38 pmHi, what are your system specs?jdennis1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 11:49 pmHi,

The sloped runway has almost no effect, but rather the PBR textures is casusing this.

Re: Unflyable FPS at KFLL
I have turned dynamic reflections off, and still get 5-10fps even in simple, default aircraft at most locations on the field. I'm not sure that it's on my end because I can get 20-30fps at even more complex locations like NYC, with all airports enabled, in more complex aircraft.RicardoLVFR wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2020 4:25 pmHi, your system is kind of the mid end side. fly with dynamic reflections off, let me know how it goes.
