I also have performance problems with KMSY (I'm fine with other popular airports from other devs)

I have turned off all Scenery Elements - but still see the ship and factory and smoke etc.

Is there a bgl file (or something) I can rename and just get the Airport detail itself ?

So I renamed some more BGL files (thats what the configurator does) to .off and it seems better
(I renamed MSY_termfurnishings, MSY_Vehicles, MSY_chemicalplant and MSYsurroundeast)

frames are quite a fair bit better - 5-10+fps (I don't drop to less than 15fps now)

still looks good though

its useable now

hey Ricardo - its a Dell Gaming laptop - 5800 - I run med - low settings all round - and usually get 15fps + at the heavier airports (ESSA, KPDX, KMSP etc)

the tweaks I made above (renaming those BGL files) made KMSY useable - so Im good now - unless you have other suggestions - thanks

Hi, something else you can do is set texture size to 1024x1024.
