Scenery troubles after deleting P3D "generated" files...
Good day! I tried the suggested technique of deleting all the generated files in P3Dv4. Since then I've been having to reinstall many of my add-on sceneries. The only LatinVFR scenery that required this was KMIA; I have a variety of LatinVFR sceneries and the rest of them are fine. I had the latest version of KMIA installed and working prior to the deletion. Subsequently I saw that it wasn't working and though the folder and files in place, there was no entry to remove the scenery in Add/Remove Programs in Windows (10 Home Edition ver. 1809). I downloaded and attempted to reinstall it and though the installation seemed to go okay and I was told to activate it the next time I started P3D no such instruction appeared when I started P3D. I looked in the scenery library and it already appears to be active but it simply isn't there; it's just the standard KMIA scenery. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi, any possibility you have DD's Miami City X installed? this happens often because it excludes our KMIA. let us know

I do and it is "greyed out" in my scenery library so that it cannot be deselected or removed. I could open the scenery.cfg file and remove it manually unless you have an alternative suggestion. Odd that it did not interfere with your scenery before.RicardoLVFR wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:33 pmHi, any possibility you have DD's Miami City X installed? this happens often because it excludes our KMIA. let us know

You can de-activate their scenery by removing theirs and then re-installing it again, that way theirs will be bellow ours.767_Captain wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 12:04 amI do and it is "greyed out" in my scenery library so that it cannot be deselected or removed. However,
There are some files from Miami city X that by deleting them you will remove their excludes for our KMIA. Check their forums.

Thanks, Ricardo. I reinstalled Miami CityX over itself. I wasn't able to uninstall it without merely deleting the related files as there was no uninstaller. But then as I researched further I realized that I was attempting to install version 3 of KMIA over my previous installation of version 4. Keen eye for the details here... I reinstalled version 4 and it works properly now. Appreciate the help!
