I have KBWI installed on my computer as well as the PMDG 737. When I go to the airport, with the plane parked at the gate, engines off, about 30-45 seconds later I'm getting the out of memory warning sound and then the simulator crashes after another minute or so. I've unchecked all the options in the configuration tool and have turned off some Orbx products as well, but still get the warning and eventual crash. Is there any advice you could give me to solve this issue? I have been able to use it in the past but now it's nearly unusable. Also when I've flown to KBWI, I get within 20 miles or so and the simulator crashes without any warning. Also when I flew out of KDCA and passed near BWI on my way to PVD, the simulator crashed without warning. Again any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Re: Crashes of KBWI
Hi, the DCA area on FSX is very heavy on VAS. Can you monitor VAS? VAS has always been an issue on FSX.
Have you tried the same situation with a default aircraft?

Re: Crashes of KBWI
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried the default 737 and it hasn't been a problem. Now I haven't flown a full flight with the default yet, but i'm defintely not getting the immediate warnings as I am with the PMDG 737. I'd prefer to fly with the PMDG, but if push came to shove, I'd fly default to use the scenery.
Also I uncheck all other add-on sceneries when I fly with the PMDG. I only leave active the departure and arrival airports if they're not default.
As far as checking the VAS usage, I'm not familiar with exactly how to do that while running FSX. If you could give me some instructions on how to do that it would be appreciated.

Hi, what sort of autogen settings you have? that can have an impact.
there a multiple tools to monitor VAS on FSX:

since FSX is a 32bit sim, its extremely limited, compared to P3dv4 which is 64 bit.
