KRSW - ILS checkerboard buildings doubled-up

Hi from England & Happy & profitable 2020.

I just purchased KRSW and your beautiful airport and immediate surroundings appears to work great with my FSX:SE setup. I had a nice, brief flight around it with Carenado's AC11 114 Commander at dusk - lovely! Why KRSW? Well I like MD-11s and I "fly" a Western Global liveried example. Their hub is at Florida Southwest Regional

However, yep, there's always a "however" in a support forum I noticed that the ILS red & white checkerboard buildings and mast are doubled up. I'm guessing the default FSX buildings are showing up somehow. I've noticed this a lot in freeware airports, but not in payware ones (I have a lot of UK2000 scenery for example).

Have you any ideas please on how to get rid of the "existing" duplicated buildings (if that's what they are)? Thanks.

My workaround on some freeware ones is quite a faff - I have to load up the airport in ADE, then load up the stock bgl. Then I have to locate and delete the stock buildings, then compile & save to obtain a new bgl file to place in the airport's scenery folder.

I use the scenery configurator - not yours, but the one which manages FSX's scenery library to set priorities etc. So I don't think KRSW's priority is an issue.

Certainly! Here you go: Note that whilst there are two buildings with masts, there appears to be only one localiser antenna at the end of the runway - I've had freeware airports where those are also doubled up.





On another issue, is there a fix for why the wheels are shown partially sunk into the surface and the plane doesn't show a shadow? There are other areas in the airport where the wheels are on the ground and the shadow is present - usually on a taxiway which crosses the main one. EDIT - upon a brief search I believe this is something to do with the contact points for the aircraft within the aircraft.cfg file and NOT your software, my apologies!

hi, sorry for not responding, but you seem to have a duplicate scenery there. Is the scenery highest in priority in the library?

Yes, I thought I had a duplicate somewhere, but so far a search has revelaed nothing. I have even made the airport priority 1 and it still has the two ILS masts & buildings.
