Edit parking codes

With AIG's One click installer out we can now fill the airports with proper AI traffic. I am unable to open any of the latinvfr airports in ADE to change the parking codes ( I currently own KFLL, KMIA, and KMSY). Is there something with your airports preventing this? I can open up airports from other developers. I would like to change the codes for personal use to have planes parking at proper gates. If this is not possible will you be updating your airports to include proper gate assignments?

thank you,
Dave

Hi, all of those airports have proper airline codes, for MSFS too.

I haven't tried opening them up in ADE, so I don't know, can you ask them why?

thank you. I did notice that the airlines appear to be at proper gates already with your airports. Thank you for that. I feel like most developers don't bother much with this so it is much appreciated. I was reading more into ADE20 and I actually don't think it is possible right now or at least the way I was used to it with P3D so that is likely the issue.

thank you,
Dave

Yes, thankfully we did, because we expected this to happen eventually. As it has now.

Unfortunately I got KMSY from the Marketplace so the scenery is secured and cannot be opened with ADE.

Not a problem in respect of correct gates but, now that we have AI traffic, it taxis to the runway and then waits at the holding point until it eventually vanishes. This is a well know issue when there is no hold short node on the taxiway.

Since ADE cannot open the airport I guess you have to fix it. Even then it will probably be months before the Marketplace is updated !

That's odd, because it does have holding points. So it may be something else at play.

BTW, all airports that we converted from P3d to MSFS, all use the same parking, taxi way information from the P3d version. So its an exact replica, just that the code was ported to MSFS. That's why you have airline codes. So if there is any issue with an airport, its not due to the way we done it.

Thanks for that update Ricardo.

Another of the mysteries of MSFS eh. I'll just delete the airport and use the default.

People looking at why nothing takes off at KATL found a hold short node in the runway. Converting it to a normal node restored take offfs.

Any chance you can look at KMSY runways please ? Maybe MSFS behaves differently to P3D so it was ok in that version.

I hope that's helpful.

will take a look at KMSY and if so release an update ASAP.
