Recommended Simbrief airframes

Post by Haggu » Thu Jun 08, 2023 12:21 pm

Was just wondering what airframe is recommended when creating a flight plan on simbrief for latinvfr's aircraft?
Is it fine to just use the default A318, A319 and A321 airframes? On some previous flights I've gotten away with the default A320 airframe with the A319 but I suspect it's probably not a good idea for especially the A321 or A318. What is everyone else using?

We are doing simbrief implementation and also working the mcdu, so very soon we will let you know what we do on this subject.

Will this update mean each LVFR airbus aircraft has its own correct data in the mcdu, for example when im using the lvfr a320ceo it says on the data page that it has the engines on a a320neo(basically is the default a320neo mcdu).

That's something simple to fix, but it won't be done on the next update, probably the one after that. As we had some deadlines sending this update and needed to send with what we did, which was a lot.

Yeah the update has been done and sent to Microsoft with the simbrief implementation.

The aircraft on the menu will still show A320 neo, that's going to changed on a following update.

I can see that the a330 neo has an lvfr airframe on simbrief however I can’t see any for the a320 family?

Will this be updated too?

Eventually yes, reason its the 330neo only is because the fuel figures are not accurate with the default simbrief model, the A32x family is more in line with the default, but we will eventually add them once we finished updating the A32x family.

I have made SB profiles that work:

A321neo LR PW [Fixes TO tailstrikes]
https://dispatch.simbrief.com/airframes ... 1115229166

A319ceo ACJ IAE
https://dispatch.simbrief.com/airframes ... 5496772610

A320ceo IAE SL
https://dispatch.simbrief.com/airframes ... 4935083708

I created these from scratch~ Other variants are ones I do not use but I will make them if requested.
